oil injector problems again

okay, i made a thread a while back about there being oil seeping into my turbo inlet from the oil injectors. someone told me the diaphrams might be busted. well i put new ones in about a month or so ago and it's still doing it. is there any reason why so much oil is seeping through? it gets bad enough to where it gets in my intercooler piping and makes the car smoke worse than normal on startups. i really like having my omp, but i don't want to keep it if i'm going to continue having injector issues

I'm missing how Oil is getting from your OMP or OMP Lines? Bad turbo seals could cause excess oil to build up in the pipes, but like i asked, why do you think the oil coming from the OPM is getting into you IC pipes?

thats what i was wondering... the omp has a direct line to each of the oil injectors.... nothing that goes anywhere near the turbo.

a vacuum source is needed on each nipple of the oil injectors to force them to open up and allow oil into the engine from the omp. He has his vacuum source on the turbo inlet and oil is getting into the vacuum lines from the injectors and into the turbo etc.

that is really strange though how old are your housings and were the oil injectors brand new? where exactly is your vacuum source for the injectors?

the housings have 25k miles on them since the rebuild. the injectors were brand new pieces from malloy. when i installed them, i made sure there was nothing obstructing the path of oil from them to the combustion area. the rotors are still being lubricated, but it seems as though there is excess that just keeps feeding in. the vacuum source is on a nipple in the base of my filter. it's the way greddy set the t78 kit up

oh i got you..

why not try putting a oil filter in the vacuum line off the injectors.

how do you know its not your turbo just spitting oil?

No, I don't think you got it yet.

because the vacuum line is BEFORE the turbo inlet meaning you have to have more than just a filter on the turbo as an intake. Have to have an area to add a nipple between the inlet and the filter.
this location is how it's always pulling vacuum especially at high boost it will be pulling more vacuum meaning more lubrication under boost.

If the rotor housing area isn't clogged the only other thing I can think of is that the OMP is trying to force in too much. I would be premixing if I were you though because something is not right and you'll probably end up finding out that you weren't getting oil to your housings.

if i disconnect the line from the filter, i can watch oil drip out of it. i know for a fact the turbo is fine. a fliter would be okay, but it doesn't answer the question of why it's doing it. it's not supposed to happen, hence the thread

i might try to pick up another omp and see if that clears it up. i was premixing before, but even with the little amount i was mixing in, it killed my plugs in no time and smoked like crazy. it's getting enough lubrication, just some is also coming out the vacuum line
