oil injector problems again
oil injector problems again
okay, i made a thread a while back about there being oil seeping into my turbo inlet from the oil injectors. someone told me the diaphrams might be busted. well i put new ones in about a month or so ago and it's still doing it. is there any reason why so much oil is seeping through? it gets bad enough to where it gets in my intercooler piping and makes the car smoke worse than normal on startups. i really like having my omp, but i don't want to keep it if i'm going to continue having injector issues
I'm missing how Oil is getting from your OMP or OMP Lines? Bad turbo seals could cause excess oil to build up in the pipes, but like i asked, why do you think the oil coming from the OPM is getting into you IC pipes?

thats what i was wondering... the omp has a direct line to each of the oil injectors.... nothing that goes anywhere near the turbo.
a vacuum source is needed on each nipple of the oil injectors to force them to open up and allow oil into the engine from the omp. He has his vacuum source on the turbo inlet and oil is getting into the vacuum lines from the injectors and into the turbo etc.
that is really strange though how old are your housings and were the oil injectors brand new? where exactly is your vacuum source for the injectors?

No, I don't think you got it yet.
because the vacuum line is BEFORE the turbo inlet meaning you have to have more than just a filter on the turbo as an intake. Have to have an area to add a nipple between the inlet and the filter.
this location is how it's always pulling vacuum especially at high boost it will be pulling more vacuum meaning more lubrication under boost.
If the rotor housing area isn't clogged the only other thing I can think of is that the OMP is trying to force in too much. I would be premixing if I were you though because something is not right and you'll probably end up finding out that you weren't getting oil to your housings.

how do you know its not your turbo just spitting oil?
