Unhappy Oil fill neck nipple?

Today I went to remove the stock PCV valve from the oil filler neck and notice the other nipple that points straight down is not hooked up. Can any one please post a picture to where it suppose to hook up to? I know from reading it goes to the primary turbo inlet but where along the way does it connect to the inlet. So a picture would be great thanks

I think I found it. Is this the metal line that the bottom nipple on the oil filler neck connects to?

There is a metal vac line beneath the lower nipple you mention. That metal line has an output near secondary turbo. Should have a vac line running into the turbo inlet.

My setup.. I removed the PCV valve (capped it off), capped off the lower nipple, and ran the PCV nipple to a vented oil catch can.

Yep, a hose goes from the filler neck to the metal line you have shown. Which the metal line leads out to another hose near the bottom of the thermostat housing (where all the other vacuum hoses are going down) and the hose connects to the primary turbo inlet elbow (you can trace the two lines up from the elbow and see the other end of the metal pipe). Does that make sense? My car is currently getting tuned so can't take a pic at the moment.

Or as Jonny listed if you wanted you could route it to a catch can or even get a long hose and run it to spray on the ground. I just keep mine hooked up to the primary turbo inlet elbow.

Ok thanks much. I found them and this is what I did I disconnected the rubber line going to the main turbo inlet and plug it up and I applied vacuum with a vacuum pump at the other at the filler neck and its leaking vacuum. Now my question is, is it suppose to hold vacuum or not?

Thanks for the help but that really doesnt answer my question. My question is if I disconnect the line ruing to the main turbo inlet and plugging it up and then disconnect the one to the oil filler neck and apply vacuum pressure does it hold pressure or is it suppose to leak out?

So you are applying vacuum to your oil filler neck where the PCV line normally goes? I don't believe the filler neck needs to hold vacuum. It has vacuum applied to it to vent the crank case but it shouldn't have to hold vacuum.

Thanks I got it. The line between the main turbo inlet and the metal line had a small pin hole and that’s why it wasn’t holding vacuum. I applied vacuum threw the hose that connects to the bottom nipple and plugged the hose that connects to the turbo inlet. I replaced the hose at the turbo inlet and now it holds vacuum.

just making sure here, it came across as a little confusing. you have it all reconnected right? as in you have the line and hose going from the lower nipple on the oil filler neck and connected to the primary turbo inlet elbow, correct? Just making sure, cause you mentioned capping it off and wasn't sure if you meant just for the test or what. cause the lower nipple has to have a way to vent so nothing should be capped off on that side of the fill neck. it should be routed to the primary inlet or to a catch can, should not be capped off.

Yup your right I capped it off just for a vacuum test. Thanks

now you have a reason to buy a vented catch can! just patch up the primary intake nipple.
