No us models have one also, the canadian tank is much larger than the other models.

yeah thats mostly correct. All US FD's have washer tanks in the front (which i can take a pic of for you) and some cars (with rear wipers) have a tiny tank in the rear to supply fluid for the rear sprayer only. You guys are lucky as you can use a US front tank for AI . I would love to see some pictures of your rear tank if you would be willing to snap some shots!! If the tanks and the switch can be easily sourced from european dealers, maybe you guys can ship us out some rear tanks and we can ship you some front ones -Heath

I'll get some pics this evening, it's around 11AM overhere now.
Where would the tank in the front be located? I'll take some pics of that area also.

I just called a Mazda-dealer in the Netherlands (mostly for I laugh, I expected it to be expensive) and got a price for a new tank: 530€ = $695

nope. Ive had a few feelers out and got nothing back so far. Basically the tanks ARE available from mazda motor sports (though you need an account, and they are 400 smackers). The switch (which would really only be useful for something like an intercooler sprayer) is no longer available. IDK if mazda motor sports will do group buys.... but im pretty sure thats not their kind of thing. Also for some reason, they claim they can get one but for some reason the part number is not working for european mazda dealers. Also the part number is good in Ray (Malloy mazdas) system, and comes up as a valid part number, but its listed as NLA. Ray even made a few calls to higher ups to see if he could locate any of this stuff, which yeilded nothing. Last shot is for someone to call canadian mazda dealers with those part numbers and ask if they can get them in canada. This international mazda parts stuff is absolutely rediculous. If you are a mazda parts dealer, ANY mazda part number should work!! why ray cant get 99 spec parts is absolutely beyond me. If people want to buy the parts they should be made available. What a stupid business model.

Could you get these through an American (USA) MazdaComp account?

Or does this require a Canadian or European Mazda Motor Sports (Dealer) account?

It is most likely a liability issue. USDM parts have effectively passed a certification test when the car is certified by the DOT, EPA, etc. Non US parts are effectively non certified and could cause liability issues if sold by Mazda. Obviously, for things like switches and water tanks this is not that sensible but I suspect it is a blanket policy.
