is this normal????
i was up at my local drag strip( eighth mile) and i made a run and the time was a 10.1?? now im a pretty good driver and i dont think it was opperator error, but when i got into the upper rpms the car felt like it didnt have any left. so i pull over to my pit area and pop the hood. my friend who has a turbo ll and he suggested put my BOVs back in. so i did and ran a 9.7. still **** but getting better. could the stock bov be shot and leaking or do i have a bigger problem? thanks guys.

so you had an aftermarket BOV installed and now have the stock ones in place again?
sounds to me like you have a boost leak somewhere, the Y-pipe connector likes to split in half so i would check that first then check over to see if you can notice any vacuum lines cracked or broken/disconnected anywhere.

There is no smoking gun on these problems, you just have to get dirty.
