I don't post very much as you can see but I wanted to give praise on the car. Being a big fan of Nissan(!) and Mazda its nice to see they can make up and be friend(the whole rotary delima).

Right now we are shooting for having the car done by jan 10 but the 17th is probably more realistic, the stock manifold has lerge runners but they are a bit long and the plenum is a little undersized for this application so we are building a new plenum with the shortened runners

did you look into getting the later model motors plenuim at all or would you still have the same problem with that one as well?

We are trying to design something that is simple and will give us the best results at WOT. The longer runners will allow for much more lowend torque and the shorter runners with velocity stacks will allow ultimate topend power. We hope the velocity stacks will help to increase airflow in the lowend, but we will see. We have 2 mindsets when doing this project:
- what will allow us to make alot of power
- what is the simplest design that looks kick ***
For the amount of money we would have spent to get another intake, we have made a custom one and have alot of money remaining. This intake will cost us all of $200 because we do 75% of the work ourselves.

Don't be ignorant. The same could be said about all the Nissan 510s running around with rotary engines in them. Don't be mad, just get even by stuffing rotaries in every 240SX you see

Thanks.Don't remember if this particular one does, it basically comes down to what people are willing to pay, but it has been done. the TB is 80mm if memory serves me.
