New on engine on high milage Fd. What else should I get changed

My Fd crapped at 107k. Getting an engine installed as I write this.

What else should I have my builder change as far as preventive measures go?

I say all hoses, thersmostat, fuel filter

What about pulsation damper? injectors? overkill?

The FD is stock other than reliability mods. DP, ast, boost gague, no radiator (yet).

Thanks

Yes, get him to change the pulsation dampener and all the fuel lines as well as the water pump. Consider everything else (including radiator) while the engine is out.

Definitely get the 550cc Primaries, and the Fuel Pulsation dampener done, cuase if it hasn't it's 40K overdue and if it has it'll be neccisary in another 20K Those should be done especially in California Every 60K "Roughly"
Think Total tuneup, new spark plugs, wires, belts etc...

Well my wheel bearings are shot at 133k miles so I suggest you look into that as well.

Oh boy, lots of things to consider. Your budget will probably help you with some of the decisions.

Replace the clutch if over 30K on it.
Consider a light flywheel
Possibly have the motor ported for a little more power.

Ok thanks guys. I wasn't thinking fuel lines and belts, but good point.

I just got my clutch replaced 15k ago

New on engine on high mileage...

Check the condition of your oil metering lines when you pull them off. Mine were hard and brittle with 80k miles, one broke during removal.
