Hey Alwan: You didn't replace the air bleed sockets themselves, right? Just the insulators? Parts:
Injector Insulators NF01-13-257A
Injector Insulators N3A1-13-257

I'm just curious as I am replacing the air bleed sockets during my upcoming rebuild, and Ray from Malloy is saying that these insulators come with the sockets when you buy them. Just curious...

Wiring to air pump and and other wiring that will get brittle and break. Cover it with heat shrink and/or run it through a silicone hose.

Stand in the engine bay, and close the hood, take pictures.

Bet people you can get under the hood of an FD, with it closed, and then show them the pictures.

Use the money to buy stuff to put in while the engine is out.

i think i just replaced the insulators but did not replace the air bleed sockets because i definitely did not buy those. i just went through the parts diagram looking for parts to replace and checked their stock level and price with mazda motorsports. my list of replaced parts is actually a lot longer than what i listed. if ray from malloy says it is included i would trust him. he seems to know his stuff and is a real nice guy to deal with. he won't bs you.

Clean the grit off the firewall. Get all the parts that'd you'd want polished. Vacuum hose job if it needs it. If you have any dreams of going with braided lines or a custom fuel system, etc,....do those. Flywheel switch if it interests you. Pully kit install can be easier to have done before each of the accessories goes back in. Plugs and wires. Ground kit. Heat wrap things if you want. Replace anything that was cracked, broken, or brittle- solenoids, hoses, wire looms, etc. Change out all the gaskets that have been removed during disassembly. Having the engine bay repainted could be a good idea if there are exposed portions- rust prevention. Check you oil cooler(s), turbos, or whatever else you can't really get to without taking things off. Upgrade as much as you want to save you a hassle later.
