its not really a temp sensor more like a temp switch. and its located way back where the cat is. its not good for anything besides sensing a cat thats overheating. not sure what temp it comes on at.

That idot light is merely a sensor in the floor under the passenger seat. It's sole purpose is to tell you that "The cat is getting so hot I am concerned you may set the car on fire" I don't know how hot it has to be to come on, but I have never seen mine light and it runs hard quite often.

Mine would come on in my first gen every now and then.. the airpump line was missing and I never bothered to replace it. Unless there's a problem like a clogged cat or your're running rich as hell, I don't think you'll see it much.
