1) Learn to launch the car. Start by running a search on 'hold button'
2) You're not going to be able to mod an auto much more than that without doing some serious mod gymnastics. In fact, you may already be overdriving your ECU. If you're talking about adding power, we need to know 2 things:
A) The 3" exhaust - is there any catalytic converter in there?
B) Do you have a boost gauge, and if so, what is the boost pattern?

torque brake: hold the brake down with your left foot, press the gas to put load on the torque converter, let off brake and smash gas more...or buy a stall converter.

I have an auto also but when I hold the break and push the gas the car only lets me go to like 2800 and it feels the same as if I didnt even do that. Of course thats in first with hold on. Should I just get a stall converter like you said?

check out my sig below!. my car is also an auto and the best thing to do is add 4.33 rear end gears . this will make the car respond so much better. make sure you have a boost gauge and keep the boost at 10 psi on the stock ECU so you don't pop the motor. take care of all the reliability mods and have the car inspected by a rotary shop. don't use the launch techniques too much as the stock trans will not hold up long to the abuse its not designed for racing. if you want to race sell the auto FD and buy a manual FD. the mods I have done are working out well for me since the car is only used for pleasure driving and personal enjoyment. Good luck with the car and feel free to PM me with any questions about the auto's

It will help you torque brake if you pull the ABS fuse.

Wouldnt let me edit my previous post, but I forgot to mention that makes sense about the fuse because in a supra it helps in two ways... the fix cantgostraight stated it does and it takes off the 155mph govenor on the supra.
