OR My solution on MANA dryer.

Hey all, Just wanted to share how i replace my old MANA dryer to Denso one.I'm not very good at explaining and my English is not so great so i'll post lot of picture so you get an idea how i did my. First you need to find the 2 Denso dryer hard pipe i know it might be a bit hard to find but believe me MANA dryer is impossible to find.Once you find Denso dryer hard pipe you need to order 2 set of AirSept 76008 kit the picture show 76001 kit is not the one.

Here what i do.

I cut the Mana pipe on the picture the first pipe is the one that got a peek hole i cut it about 2 1/2 inch off and the second one you see the picture. You would need to cut the Denso pipe also. The measurement in the picture is where i cut my at you might need to do you own measurement. Just make sure where splice point is clear. Now you can connect the two Denso line that had be cut to he new dryer and splice it to the bottom 2 pipe that come out of the condenser .Now the bottom 2 pipe is still MANA and the top are Denso .

Now the bracket for the dryer.Mana dryer I think the bracket are weld on what i do is just use a dremel to cut it out and use it for new dryer here picture.

Just find some rubber pad put it between dryer and bracket a couple of zip tie. It had been 3 years now that i did this still no leak at the splice point AC still blow cold. Hope this help some of you guys with MANA system.

Nice! Yeah that would be a solid way to do it.

That dryer was used in a LOT of cars, I know Toyotas used them. May be able to find a Toyota part number that's easy and cheap to get to use those lines instead of hacking up FD lines for the job which are going to be hard to find and expensive.

Interesting. How does that fitting work? You simply insert the lines into each side and then tighten?

I use something similar from SUR&R. Works great. They also have fittings that allow you to splice in flex hose for custom ac setups. Either way nice work.

Looks like walmart had there MANA drier but its out of stock: https://www.walmart.com/ip/For-Mazda...rier/435195273

Also I had those same type of fittings on my AC system and it only lasted a month. I took my hoses to a local hose shop and got it repaired for around $50.

^Nope, that's the Nippondenso drier.

The MANA drier IS NOT AVAILABLE ANYWHERE, period. It was a weirdo custom-made drier just for the FD. There was one company I think that made an aftermarket copy but those are long dried up.

I imagine you could also take the MANA drier lines and some lines that will work with an ND drier, cut them, and have them welded together at a welding shop. But, the compression fittings are nice since you can do it your self at home.

I think with these it has to be dead-on the right size and the lines have to be clean and free of any burrs. Also, I would imagine you would need a metric size for the lines, getting a "close enough" standard size probably won't work long term.
