I was driving my Fd today and all of a sudden my odometer stopped working.. The turbo gauge and rpms and everything eles works.. Do you think it's just a blown fuse?

Speedo not working *AND* odometer not working check the speed sesnor in the tranny and the electrical connector to the sensor. If it's not that sensor or connector chances are the speedo assembly just crapped out on you.

I recently replaced my speedo because just the odo went dead.

You might want to check all the connection points between the speed sendor on the tranny. I have the exact pages in the manual and locations but they're at work and i'm stranded here for a couple days thanks to ice. I got the wiring diagram at www.iluvmyrx7.com
Another big hint: if your cruise control doesn't work it's probably the sensor or the connection. (at least in my case it was a connection that came loose)

I have the same darn problem. I have been driving around by feel for a month now. I am guessing it is the speed sensor but when I went to check it, tranny fluid started coming out when i began to remove it. Do you need to drain the tranny to check it? Maybe I was checking the wrong sensor? What does it look like and where is it exactly? I was told it is in the back of the tranny, it has 2 wires and it is cylindrical. Is this correct and are there any other defining characteristics?
My odometer, speedometer, tripmeter, and cruise control don't work but they are still lit up.

It is a relief to hear that there are other people having this problem as well. After a lot of searching and a few posts I could not find anyone who experienced exactly the symptoms I had. Every other problem I have had has been fairly common so the fixes were known or one of us developed one. We should keep each other posted on this and I know if I find out how to fix it I will post right away!
