Go to the sensor check screen and watch for the ELD dot to light up or not when you turn the A/C (fans on). If it flickers on and off or only works on a few settings, then that could be it.
Does the it idle like that on all fan settings with the AC on?

yes i have searched on this topic for a while and found no useful information i have no as in my car at all was wondering what wires i could cut or get rid of soo the ac button just turned on the fans ?
If you're just looking for a better way to switch the fans on, I think you can change the temp at which they switch on with the Datalogit. Then you don't have to mess with goofy stuff like the AC switch.
Or, get something like the HKS fan controller and have total control of your fans
