where should I take it or what should I do total loss it right now.

Try to read the tread about how the map sensor can make your car seem like you blew your motor.

If you have a compression testor kit, that's the thing i would check first. especially when you were changing out the spark plugs.

Did you have your power FC tuned correctly and what boost are you running??

Good luck.

Try reconnecting the map sensor and if that isn't it I would do a compression test. My friend had a similar problem...ended up that he cracked a coolant seal and it only took a little more time before it totally blew

Isn't there sort of a crude compression test? pull the plugs, and crank, listening for pop, pop, pop... etc... Well the "pop" is the build of compression, so if it doesn't sound like a distinct pop, it isn't making good compression. If you get one pop out of several, that's indicative of a blown apex seal, whereas if you get no pops out of one rotor that's a corner/side seal, right?

crude it truly is. When you check your spark plugs, first pull the EGI relay, then go the the front rotor and pull your leading plug. Have someone crank the engine over. This procedure applies to both rotors. Do one rotor at a time. You should hear 3 even "whooshes". If you get a WHOOSH-whoosh-whoosh , then your engine's blown.

you can pull either plug really, doesn't totally matter.

make sure u see about 250rpm when cranking, or the battery is still good.

you can buy a regular compressin testor kit for piston motors for 20 bucks. Just use it and hold the peak hold button down. You should see the needle jump 3 times pretty fast. Just see where they roughly were. I think you want about 120psi+???.i forgot.

Oh yeah, forgot about that. If you've blown it, then the boost will be erratic i.e. watching a boost gauge, the boost needle will bounce up and down...not stay steady. I noticed this before and thought I blew my engine...turned out I did

I noticed the midpipe in your mods list. Is your wastegate ported? What boost do you creep to, if at all? Are you running stock injectors, and what kind of peak inj. duty cycle are you seeing at 8k WOT in 3rd gear?

Never had any boost creep had it set to .80 of a bar never took ot to 8k rpms always shifted at 7k tops won't have time to pull the plugs agian this week have three pools to build going to have to make an appiontment at mazduh and see what happens if it still has good compression (not fuggin likely) i'll have them check the coils and map sensor don't it gets past the compression check. Argh this month blows.
