I need turbos

I'm weighing in my options...I have a bone stock car, and I think the turbo's are wearing out. I can see that there is oil dripping, but not that much. Does anyone have any prices, or brands for me? I want to get a general idea of what to get, expect, and how much it'll cost. Should I get the stock sequentials or get a single turbo? Also would I be able to get a single turbo with stock motor, exhaust, and intake if I keep the boost down?

I think Mightyslash has a picture that might help.

I would not think about going Single. You have a lot more to do to your car for that then just "plug it in".

First, find out exactly where the oil is leaking from. It may not be the turbos themselves, but the oil lines into them. It could be from somewhere else.

Track the leak exactly then you can see if you really need new turbos. What is your boost pattern?

Sorry man, I was just playing. He is a member that occasionally yells at people to use the search function. He recently posted this link for people asking common questions. https://www.rx7club.com/forum/attach...&postid=492594
To get to your point, if you plan on heavy modding, I would get a rebuilt set of stockers with a ported wastegate, with a nonsequential conversion. If you don't plan on heavily modding, then you might want to get some 99+ turbos.

If you do decide to get new stock turbos, let me know I have a set I’m trying to sell

I’m just looking to just get rid of them for around $300-400....

PM me if you're interested

With a stock car, just stay with the stock turbos. You have to completely redo fuel system and MANY other mods to safely run a single on a RX7. Get a reputable turbo rebuilder and have yours rebuilt or get a cheap $200 set off the net and send them away - can be rebuilt for $700-1000 - that way you can still drive your car while the turbos are being rebuilt. Are you losing power or boost?? Might be your oil lines as earlier stated.

Thanx for the help guys, I'm not sure if I'm losing boost...I did decapitate a '96 corvette on my way home from school...but I will get a boost cage this week and let you guys know. The oil is coming from the Y-pipe I think through the connection to the intercooler pipe
