i realise this is an old thread but i'd like to put a plug in for the Garfinkle Engine Torque Brace (EBT).

David's EBT is designed correctly. it opposes the engine torque thru the same plate (the rear iron) that attaches to the engine mounts.

the engine mounts (rubber) and the PPF oppose engine torque (twist). some have just gone to solidish mounts. i like the idea of allowing the engine mounts to do the job for which they were designed... soak up drivetrain vibration.

as many know we have occasionally broken PPFs. all due to twist/torque.

the EBT takes all of the twist out of the PPF and the motor mounts.

David, as usual, has the best design and i am proud to have his on my car since 99.

you should have one too.

David is not a vendor on this site so you will have to search to find him.

Yes. He also makes a very nice non-sequential turbo manifold

he's on the rotary car club forum under "Garfinkles Motor Works"

HOLY GEEBUS!! thread coming back from DEAD!!!

By the way, his newer version (unlike the ones I posted) are much better. Its bit harder to install, but definitely worth it!!

A lot of people have been asking me how to contact David.. So, I'll post it here how you can contact him.

1. Email him: garfinklemw@gmail.com
2. call him : I'll ask him if its ok to give out
3. PM him on RCC as he seems to be getting on there.
