How old are you guys?

I was just wondering how old you guys were and what you guys do for a living. Everyone in my area is older and I was just wondering if that was like everywhere. I was just wondering. Also how much do you guys spend a year on your FD? I live in Maryland.

I'm 20. Student at University of Illinois, CS & Math major. During summers I have programming internships to make a couple bucks At school I work for the campus computing centers, where i make pennies. I've owned my '93 for about 15 months now and have probably spent about $3K on fun stuff as well as tools and supplies. Not to mention insurance...add another $2K. But I manage. Just always have enough money that you'd be O.K. if your engine blew up tonight....that's my philosophy.

I'm older than dirt and dumber than a brick.....47. I think the oldest fart here is 57. The average is around 25. I still like young chicks though. We never change. I'm an FAA Certified Commercial Pilot and pack heat when I work - always. **** the rag heads. I say nuke 'em all and let God sort 'em out.

So, anyone for tennis?

19 (20 in a month), accounting student in college, manual labor (pulling stones from molds ) to pay for the FD for now. Not sure how much I have put into it so far, but had it now since April, and the number is probably enough to buy a pretty damn good beater

30 semi-unemployed, but don't quite act that old. I've got 2 kids too. They don't quite fit into my RX, that's why I've also got a Mustang GT

I'm 30 and I'm an electrical engineer. I've owned the car for 2 years. I replaced the motor at 79K. Didn't really have any problems. Just started the vacuum line replacement and figured while I was at it I would just replace the motor as well. I've spent about $6K on the car so far. I just had the factory wheels polished and they look great!

35, pharmaceutical scientist, owned the FD for 5+ years. Spend $7000 to $8000 per year racing the car on different race tracks (Mid Ohio, Road America, Road Atlanta, Gingerman, Putnam Park, Summit Point).

I'll be 25 in just over a week. I'm a computer programmer. Got my FD in June and I've put about $6000 in upgrades and maintenance so far. Would spend more but winter is basically here so my upgrade time limit for the summer has expired. Oh well, it's probably for the best. It'll be nice to have sub-$1000 credit car bills for a change.
