You're not serious are you!! What hostility! ...you oughta take up drinking or something "healthy" like that.

Nevertheless, to each his own.

I'm even older than RonKmiller but only slightly smarter than a brick...48. I also like (to look at) young chicks but don't tell my wife or some smarmy lawyer might end up with my FD. Sergeant with 24 yrs on a 100+ Officer department. I "pack heat" when I work and even when I don't...so be nice, I like nice!
BTW, I'll probably spend about $1500 this year but that includes maint., a new clutch and some assorted fun stuff.

27, single (not single turbo!)
Automotive Engineer @ Landi www.landi.it (CNG and NPG systems)
bought my FD in May 03
completely stock (for now....)
spent 8500 for the car, 2000 for paint job, 1800 for misc
520/year road tax
518/year insurance (and I am really lucky, you can get as much as 2500/year)
plus gas (1.050/litre!) and oil
prices in euros
had to wait 'til i had money (and find the right car) to buy my FD, i wonder how can be there so much students owning FDs here... i used to drive a Golf when i was student, and comparing to others i was really lucky!
better switch off here and move to your country guys.....

Well, I'm 61! I bought my classic-red FD in March 1992. It has a PFS intake (modified by me), PFS IC, and PFS cat-back. I made my own replacement rear trailing links (teflon-lined rod-ends at the front) to reduce wheel-hop.
I also race a Formula continental (F2000) racecar in SCCA Nationals.
I love the FD! Other than the racecar, nothing else is such a hoot to drive!!

25 had my current FD for about a year. I'm a financial advisor with a Masters in Engineering. Spent about $5,000 on the car.
Probably the stupidest thing to WASTE your money on, but there are two things I love in this world...

MY FD and TWINS!!
