How much is this one worth?

I am really interested in this car, but they are asking $22.9k. Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems pretty high to me. I was just wondering what you guys think would be a fair price.

I agree, almost 23k is high. I'm not an expert but 18 to 19K is the most I would pay. The low mileage is a big plus.

I don't know if the price is high (seems high to me) but I would ask for the results of the compression test.

I paid 17,500 for my 94 with exactly the same mileage and almost the same condition. That was two years ago at the height of the RX-7 comeback. This is a 93 model. While it's in good shape from a physical appearance, prices have dropped and you have no idea what the compression is on that engine. I don't think you can make a bid with the info at hand. I don't think it can be worth much more than $16,000 all things considered even with good compression. E-bay is not a good way to buy a car unless you can purchase something like this at KBB price levels or even below. Too many things to worry about.

Wow, was yours stock? I agree with all of the above said comments. I used to be eary with ebay cars, but since I have purchased 2 cars sight unseen and both have worked out excellent. I will make sure all of the appropriate measures are taken before purchase.

$14k is really low for a 27k car, and $23k is really high for a 44k car. I think the answer is in the middle - $18k.

I've been watching this car as well. This is the same dealer that's got the (claimed) last US 95 for sale w/ 11K miles - they want $34K for that one! It looks beautiful, but I think they're really fishing at that price. So, they're high on both cars. I agree that the 93 is probably in the $16-18K range. To get what they're asking I think the mileage would have to be under 20K.

Yep, pretty high IMO. There's some nice priced ones on Autotrader and Cars.com right now. That's where I'd be looking if I were you.

Dave, $18K sounds about right...until I saw it's got tan interior. Subtract about $4K from it... j/k. Sorry, I'm just a hardcore tan interior hater haha.

I got my '93 Touring from a Mazda dealership last year for 13.9k out the door, and it had 59k miles on it.
