I have had mine for over 5 years and I have spent around $1500 on maintenance/tuneups. With the money I have saved on mods, I bought myself another toy.

6k is very easy to get to i think. I would guess 15k would be a more logical "top" amount.

I clicked on $6000.00 + assuming it said $60,000.00+. I saw the results and thought no way 200+ people have spent over 60 grand!

its all fixer upper stuff

1.) radiator- 450
2.) exhaust-450
3.) stereo revamp- 550
4.) Radiator Fans+shroud-2300 from dealership
5.) installation of that stuff-700
6.) random hose fixits-600
7.)Body Damage/getting panels repainted-2500
8.) New clutch/fuel system fixit-1600
9.) Suspension fix- 1000
10.) Fixing interior plastic-500

thats it! quite sad But I'm getting a vacuum hose job this monday! and bam my car is running great until the engine blows! AND ITS STILL STOCK! W/ 11k INVESTED! makes me so sad

aftermarket parts= HKS superdrager exhaust

Slowly but surely I'm getting this done!

That we are. I often wonder who actually has more money invested into the car, me or you? Without counting actual tools purchased for the car, I think it would be pretty close. Considering I had to do my project 2.5 times, and you seem to have done the same thing. You may have the edge on me.

Unless you're hiding a few gold bricks under your seats, I'm pretty sure I do.

In the two years I've owned my car I've spent just over $25K in mods, maint, engine, etc. All the receipts are in a file, a big file. My new wife wishes I loved her half as much...lol We were dating when I bought my FD and she said it's been down hill ever since!

Is it just me or are the hcoices way too low? should be more like 0-1000/ 1000-3000/ 3000-6000/ 6,000-12,000 / 12,000- 25,000 / 25 +. Lets see myself, i spent 4k rebuild, 3k rebuitl transmission, 2k body kit, 2k engine work/perforamcne/reliability. so 11k

Inheritted a 94 FD from my brother for $10.5K...car is all original with 52k miles. So far we spent $2700.00 for a set of CCW & 17" tires.

Planning to spend another $3K by fall 05...looking for 275 rwhp...

Much too low, considering what a Power FC and a good-sized intercooler cost. Hell, just wheels and tires alone puts me in the highest available category.
