what is the purpose of them

i think the purpose is 1600cc + 1300cc are different amp's and the resisitor lows the amp's for the 1600's but i'm not sure

it ricks the ecu to thnking they are low impendence injectors.... or was it high?? now I don't even remember :S

Typical large injectors are low impedence, and requires higher current to drive the solenoid. The stock injectors are high impedence, the stock/reprogrammed ecus and some programmable ecus do not have the ability to drive the low impedence injectors, so a resistor is added to increase the overall impedence.
