Question how much is an FD subframe worth?

can anyone give me an idea how much a subframe is worth, and if there is much of a demand for them? thank you, heath

I'm assuming you're asking about the engine cradle? About $100-150 if it's in good shape.

I paid $150 for a cradle that was clean because that was the only one I could find. Not everyone strips a car down that far.

yes the engine cradle is the part im talking about. im doing a 20b conversion and have 2 options: buy a pre-made one from pettit, or send it to someone on the forum who will convert my existing one to take the 20b. pettit wants $2100, and the guy on the forum wants 1700 to mod my subframe so im trying to decide.

i think that for that price the pettit one comes with the modified spindels for the repositioning of the rack & pinion you will have to do. not sure but call them up to double check

um, well its kinda still in the car. its in good shape though. when would you need it by? i still have to pull the motor and im back at school so it could be a couple months. feel free to PM me if youd like also. heath

kempo: yeah the pettit one comes w/ the modded spindles, but the kit that this guys makes on the forum includes an extention to lengthen the steering rack arms.
