How much boost should I run for my modification?
Hi,
I have M2 inatke bix, dp, racing beat dual cat-back and Pettit SMIC with stock motor and turbo. How much boost should I run for my modification safely? Please give me some suggestion.
Thanks

This has been discussed hundreds of times and is readily available info from any of the sites in the newbie sticky.
You should not boost over 10 psi with the stock ecu. Period. In fact, if you go much over 10 psi at high rpm, the stock ecu will enact fuel-cut to protect the engine.

More boost = leaner a/f ratios. More boost = greater stress on the turbo system. If you want to go past 12psi peak (10psi normal), the stock system can fail mechanically if your engine hasn't blown because of lack of fuel. Move up in boost with extreme care.
This car is not like some other overdesigned turbo cars in the past where you get free horsepower by jacking up the boost setting.

If you have a Power FC, you should be able to run 12 psi for daily driving with your mods. Watch your injector duty cycles. You could probably get away with 13-14 psi for races but I wouldn't want to run that all the time. I also would definitely at least run the car on the dyno to verify your A/F ratios are ok with the base PFC map.

do not be upping the boost without running your car on a wideband and datalogit...or a dyno....you will blow your **** up. simple as that.
do it right...tune the car...

With the PowerFC AND a wideband tune you should be able to boost 12psi fine, maybe more.
Definitley get a WB tune to make sure you do not go lean at those higher levels and find where your 85% injector duty happens. As longs as your top boost is about 85% and the WB shows plenty of fuel in those cells you should be good.
You should definitley pick up a datalogit by the way if you are going to start venturing into the realm of pushing your car to its limits. Cheap and well worth it.
Without a datalogit your not using your PowerFC to its potential.
my 2 cents...
