How high would you go...

95 FD with 15K original miles! Red/Black,5speed, PEP package and always garaged. Basically it's as close as possible to being "new", showroom condition. Manufactured on 12/95 (vin# ends with...497) so it's one of the last to come stateside. Owner is asking $28K. I need some figures to work by so please help me out...
Thanks!!!

for a 95 pep with that low miles, 28 is not a bad price at all. i personally wouldnt pay more than 25 for one, but then again if u see it and u fall in live, thats another story

the car is worth what you want to pay for it.but just remember that every mile that you put on that car it will depreciate.I sold my 93 fd a few months ago with only 22,000 miles on it for $9,400 less . once the mileage on my car went past 15,000 the offers i had were much lower.you almost feel guilty driving a low mileage fd.

not a bad price but i would offer him 25k...just to give you a baseline, i bought mine in mar. 05 and i paid 21k for mine it was also built in 12/95, touring package, with 21k original miles. with the values of these cars going up its not unreasonable price just hard to find a bank to help you finance a car that they value usually 5k-10k cheaper. so you might need a sizable downpayment.

23K, I'd pay that, I paid more for mine 5 years ago with 60K miles on it. Its actually a Canadian 1995 FD though so its 100 k km. In Canada the FD of any type are considerably more expensive. If you want good money for your FD, sell it in Canada, try in Vancouver, British Columbia where I live, they sell for a minimum of around 16,500 Canadian and these FDs are beat to ****. Also, BC has only like 5 days a snow here a year, so people try to drive their nice cars year round. I drive my 1995 as a daily driver. Cause I can't stop driving it !!!!!!!!!!!! Nice find though. If I had a low milage 95 I would not use it as a daily driver but, mine already had about 60K miles and now I have 100k miles on it or 160k Km. Again, nice find. And up here, that is a really good price.

I definitely do not feel that I was ripped off at all. In a way, I'm glad that I paid more for a 95 FD cause of the improvements that were made there as compared to the 93s...

You got a good deal IMO. I would have paid that without blinking....

As for the 14k in UK...you guys got them imported longer than we did, didnt you? That would make them worth less there than here. Ive seen guys in Japan pick the same thing up for even less than your 14k...but again, they got them longer (I want to move to japan...mmm 2k2 FD).

THI - questions: Do you have a glass sunroof and aluminum door sills? Just wondering cause it seems like these items are rare. I have read up on someones post a while back about all the differences in the FD over the years but, what about your 1995? I wonder if ours are the same except for Miles and Kilometers? I tried looking up how many FDs were sold in Canada from 93 - 95 and I think its only just under 700. For the 95 in Canada I could only find proof that there was 16 or 18 sold. But, who knows. How do you find out this stuff? I have always wondered. I want another one now!!
