They look fine to me. The tan coloration is normal. That's what my plugs looked like when I took them out.

Yah, figured tan was ok, was more concerned about the ridiculously black one(far right) and the one with white streaks(far left).

How many miles on the plugs? Looks a bit lean to me boss, mine are always dark lol

Yah, not sure on the mileage, those were the ones that came with my car, motor was rebuilt not but 3k miles ago, I would assume spark plugs changed at the same time? :/

I have another question regarding spark. I jsut switched from 7/9 to all 9's and I noticed a considerable increase in spark time when starting the car. It cranks a few times then finally fires up, is this due to the all 9s? Or did I mess sometihng up? :/

And did you torque them down correctly?

I torqued them based on the 1/4-1/2 turn or whatever the box says. I don't have a torque wrench so i can't actually know for sure. I am guessing I didn't torque them right. I would say it cranks for 3-5 seconds and then fires up, as before it would be a quick 1-2 and on. :/

EDIT: And the 1/4-1/2 turn was a guess because of the cramped quarters around the plugs, so I don't even know if i did that right.

Unless you actually do a "plug chop" (running the engine hard for a while and then chopping the throttle/shutting off the motor simultaneously), you cannot tell a/f ratios by the color of the plugs. Even a few seconds of part-throttle running will significantly discolor the plug porcelain (which is where you must actually examine to do any a/f ratio diagnosis).

+1 on the fineessss. and kento is right all you can realy tell is if they have been burning oil, coolant etc for a long time
