I am gla dyou asked cause there are several options. You have the Kiaxen kit wich works with the stock pop up lights. Search autodoodad.com.

You also have Evo-r sleek light kit with HID option.

Knight Sports pop up with HID which is about $1900.

RE Amemiya sleek light kit with HID which costs $2200 from FdNewbie.

Some people have made their own or have upgraded their Evo-R with better projectors and bulbs.

Personally, I like the RE, LOL, but I dont have a spare arm.

I really like the Wisesports HID kit, if you want to keep the stock pop-ups.

If i had to choose, i'd go with the RE-Amemiya HID kit.

Just remember that you'll need projector lenses for HID to be effective.

Hmm, i wonder how much better than stock HID's are...

Is there an alternative to HID's?? Isnt there just really bright bulbs that i could buy for the stock pop up set up?

Silverstar bulbs are generally considered the brightest halogen bulb, and are available at most auto parts stores.

No flames, I think most of us want HID, a good HID, but they are expensive.

I'm running Catz HIDs, search under my username for more info and comparison pics between HIDs and stock. They're not available anymore however.

My dad has Kaixen HIDs and I was surprised by their excellent quality, I recommend them as well.

I retained the popups, and bought a set of D2S to h4 bulb adapters (comes with shield) along with D2S ballasts and bulbs on ebay. They were used but out of some BMW. Also, I bought the h4 wiring harness so that it can plug straight into the ballast. Wasn't that expensive, maybe 200 total, but the light output is amazing. If you want to shell out the money, get D4S bulbs.
