Help! Starting Issue - 1 Rotor Until Warmed

I'm having a starting issue where the car has a difficult time starting.
When it does start, it runs on 1-rotor where I need to keep on the gas to keep it at idle rpm to prevent it from dying.
Once it warms up to around 60C, the second rotor usually kicks in and the car runs fine.

At low boost I can redline, but at higher boost settings I get hesitations.

I don't drive my car often, maybe once a month and I do run rich.
I've been contributing this all to fouled plugs, since it usually helps a little when I replace them.

However this is the first time I've experienced the car starting up on 1-rotor and that worries me.
Has anyone had this experience? Please help!

What plugs are you running? What mods do you have?

That totally sounds like fouled plugs that aren't lighting off until they get hot enough to get a good spark. Could also have bad plug wires or coils that aren't giving you all the spark you should have.

Do you have a stock ECU or PowerFC?

Thanks for the help Dale!

Mods wise, the usual single upgrade with a 35R.
Plugs just the stock NGK 7's and 9's.
As for ECU, Power FC.

If it sounds like something related to ignition, that puts me at ease.
I'll replace the wires to see if I gain more stability.

Not driving the car for weeks to months at a time doesn't help I can imagine.

My Turbo II acted like this just before I had the motor rebuilt. The coolant seal was seeping into one chamber over night, and would run on one rotor until the coolant was cleared from those plugs. Do the champagne test and see what you got at the coolant neck.

I suppose OP could pressure test the cooling system, and/or pull a plug before a first start to check out the plug.
I'm definitely interested to see what the problem was.
