MD Help Needed 94 PEP no crank

Hello Community-need your help.

Car doesn’t crank at all. I read the forums and learned that there was a 2nd clutch switch on PEP pkg cars with cruise control.

And the second switch is indeed broken, and I tried to jump the connector and it didn’t help. I should be able to jump this connector??

I also tried jumping the circuit for the 1st clutch switch and the security (blue) module. didtnt help.

I am able to bump start the car, so this will eliminate the key cylinder mechanism.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

TIA! Deep

This is the male side of the clutch switch for a 95 Pep. I was able to start the car by jumping the female connector side. It is located on the right side of the metal clutch bracket. You can see the black round plastic clutch travel stop in the pic to help you locate the switch connector. Of course this may not help, if you already jumped this connector.

Hi Forum-Need your help.

I jumped the 2nd switch for the cruise control (female side) and still no luck.

Here is what I noticed--
It doesn't seem like a ground issue, as I can verify I am getting 12v from the main fuse block to the alternator.
Also, the clutch for the air pump engages, as I turn on the key.
Is there a starter relay--I need to check?

I need to get this car started and enjoyed. :-)

Thanks again!!

Also checked that I am getting ~5v at the first clutch switch and ~12v at the 2nd cruise control switch (that I am jumping).

no luck.

Have you checked the fuses - B1 and B2 in the engine bay, and 15A ENGINE fuse inside the car.

If those fuses are good, take the multimeter and start checking the voltage in each of the key points (see the electrical diagram below). Start with the starter, and move on to the next point until you locate the bad one.

Recently, I had such an issue and the problem was the starter cut relay (the blue connector behind the drivers side foot panel).
