Part numbers question

For ordering parts, do I use the number in the rectangular box or the number below the box?

i'm not sure that the "how to use this thing" section is actually in the newer catalogs, but its in the older ones.

Mazda says De-Code, Ford would call it a Base Number, basically 11-376 is always a Crankshaft bolt, 11-500 is always a Flywheel, etc.

I am on the Wright-Here sight, so based on your info it will be the numbers in the boxes.

When using the Mazdaspeed Motorsports website, it's always been the numbers below the box. For instance N3A7-11-D61 for the part labeled 'Weight, Balance (MT)' on the screenshot.

More than likely the one below the box. The searchable part numbers are generally 9 digits long

What is Ray's contact information?
I tried using the number that I had from years ago, and it looks like that dealership is no more.

It is the lower number. The number in the box is the diagram reference number. The diagrams often stay the same from year to year (or even from FC to FD) so you have to look into the tables for the full part number. Those numbers can vary from year to year or type to type. Or even within a year.

As far as availability, even obscure part numbers will come up on google search.

Unfortunately many of the sellers seem to be somewhat fake.

They just list all the parts and hope you will hit them..

Tasca seems to be good, but often after you order, they come back "part is nla".

Some sellers just turn around and order from Mazda, so it does not hurt to actually ask the Mazda dealer first.

Atkins often has inventory, even some RHD pieces.

Many RHD parts cross over to LHD. One clue is if the JDM parts catalogue has an USDM part number (FD01-___-___).

RHDJapan or Nengun can help.

Or search the part number on Yahoo Japan. If you find it you can order through Buyee.
