AZ Help Identify Coolant Leak…

Hi everyone. As the title suggests I have a coolant leak. I believe that there is a leak on the water pump seal but after removing the water pump I am not 100% sure. Just wanted to cover my basis and see what everyone else thinks based on their experiences. If you look at the attached picture there is water under the intake manifold and it looks like it was sprayed on the manifold.

Is there another area where coolant could have come from besides the water pump assembly?

Any insight would be great.

All the factory TB stuff is gone. Have a 90mm rotary works TB with just TPS. No other sensors or hoses.

Are the old TB coolant lines capped? Maybe one of the caps broke, it could be the one on the rear iron.

I'll take a looking as soon as I get home from work. Is it a nipple on top of the rear iron underneath the intake manifold?

The nipple has been removed and welded shut on my rear iron.

It looks like it has to be coming somewhere from the water pump assembly?

I have no idea of FD engine cooling systems but if you think it is near the water pump I remember seeing THIS :
https://www.rx7club.com/general-rota...using-1007314/
It shows a nipple on the pump.
If it helps great,if not hey!,I tried right?

Thanks for the reply. My pump assembly looks little different and doesn't have that nipple.

Rather than guessing,

You should rent/buy/borrow/steal a coolant pressure tester and pressurize the system and answer the question definitively.

I didn't specify in my original post but I did pressurize the system but could not determine exactly where the leak was coming from. It wasn't till I pulled the water pump off that I was able to see coolant under the intake manifold. I ordered new water pump and gaskets which won't be here till later in the week. I know I need to put everything back on with intake manifold off and re-test. I was just hoping to get some insight before then.
