help!!! car running bad.

No more replys on other threads so i start a new one. recently my car was running bad and i looked at my check valves and they werent flowing or were cracked so i replaced them with dale clark check valves. during the change i must have messed something up. my car was idleing rough with low vacuum. after the check valves it runs better most of the time but sometimes will still have low vacuum(around 10 in.) also the car will not boost over 5psi. i checked on the double throttle and everything looks to be okay. i dont know what it could be. any ideas??

Check your boost lines and couplers. Did u put the check valves in facing the right way?

yea they r going the right way. i cant see how it could be a boost leak though. my couplers are almost brand new multi layer silicone. a while ago i was leaking about 5 psi from a quarter sized hole in the oem y pipe coupler, now im leaking about 7 psi, because i was running 12psi

Can you hear an actual leak or is the car just not boosting?

Its a vacuum hose then...Check all the lines that have check valves ofcourse, but the first one I would be looking at would be the one comming off the Y-pipe going to the pressure chamber and from the pressure chamber to the UIM. You can do that without even removing the chamber, just pop a hose off and you should hear pressure release. If its holding pressure take it off and start rechecking all those hoses under there

still cant find problem

I;ve had this problem for about a week now. Last week i ordered some dale clark check valves and the day that i was going to put them in i started getting low boost. I replaced the check vlaves hoping that would fix it but it didnt. i checked and re checked to make sure everything was done right and it looks good. still only 5psi. one member told me to check the line from the y pipe to the pressure chamber and from the pressure chamber to a nipple on the uim. he also said if i pull a line off the pressure chamber and i dont hear a pressure release i have a problem somewhere in the rats nest. well i dont hear a pressure release, so its somewhere down there. any other suggestions.

might have a bad solenoid too.
first off, try tr pressurize the system and see/hear for any air leaks
then move onto testing the solenoids
