I have the same problem with the drivers door compartment. the lid was off when i purchased the car. the part is over $170.00 from mazda and trying to get one used is almost impossible. I've ben looking for over a year for the compartment lid but people won't part with them. if anyone has one PM me.

I got a drivers door compartment new for $75.00 - it was a total steal. I was like 4th in line about 2 hours after it was posted in the for sale section, and somehow I was the first one to have the money. So the few that come up do sell ridiculously fast.
There is one on ebay right now NIB going for over $150. I have to say, if someone ever totalled a mint FD they could pay for a lot of stuff in interior parts alone.
The glove box is probably easier to find - ebay, this forum, and thepartstrader.com are your best bets. Or just buckle down and buy one from Malloy. Remember, it's different from the 93s since 94+ have pass. side airbags.

I have owned two FD's and they both had broken lids on the drivers door. My current one, I was able to put a screw where the hinge is (the one towards the rear of the door) to hold it on. Not exactly 100%, but it holds it on and looks better than with it missing. It will still open and close, but I don't want to push it and break it off completely- so I just leave it closed .
