Apexi Turbo Timer Install

I seek tech advise from those who did-it-themselves installing the Apexi Turbo Timer:

I'm about to splice the O2 & ground wires to the back of the ECU connector. I need confirmation on which wires to splice into since I don't trust the vehicle specific diagram that came with the TT.

I have a '94 FD so the chart indicates I use the "Z3-a" diagram. By comparing the diagram's pin location against the factory wiring diagram, I need to splice into 3C (O2 Sensor) and 4C (GND). Correct?

Now, looking at the back end of my ECU (still on the car) are the 2 connectors the top 2? If so, the pins should then be the 2nd in from the left and on the bottom row, correct?

Thanking you in advance for the help (BTW, a search uncovered more about opinion rather than install tips).

Follow the diagram, it's correct. Depends on how you're looking at the ECU. The diagram is showing the side that is facing away from the panel (non bolted side) is the top. You kinda have it backwards from what the diagram is showing, but you are correct. So, as you are looking at the ECU (that is still bolted to car) The row that is closest to you is what you want. Does that make sense?

I agree that with the stock O2 sensor, it is useless. Then again, the stock O2 sensor is pretty much useless for reading anything other than rich or lean.

I just put in an Innovate LM-1 and wired one analog output to the autotimer (the other went to the ECU) and adjusted the O2 settings to match. Now it seems to be pretty close to the AFR display on the LM-1, which I trust.

Just a suggestion, if you want to use the AFR display on the autotimer.
