Flooding problems??

So I think I flooded my car this morning. But I finally got it started by holding it WOT, then starting it like normal. It was running like ****. It wouldnt rev at all. It has absolutely no power. I let it sit for a minute or so, then tried to drive it up and down my neighborhood. It could barely get it into second due to its lack of power. So I took it home, and tuned it off. Then I turned it back on again, and let it idle for a good 10-15 min, while I washed it. Trying to burn off any extra gas or whatever. It was still running like ****, and the exhaust sounded really bad. It was really quiet. The revving problem continued. I really cant think of anything that could be wrong. It got all the way up to operating temp, and it still was not running properly. Any suggestions?

Stock injectors and fuel pump. It was running great till today. Its weird. I cant figure it out. I reset the ECU and it didnt help anything either. Tried to pull codes, and none showed.

I'm assuming you did the usual (i.e. checking to make sure the vacuum line for the MAP sensor is connected on both sides)?

Bumpin this one up. It will start, but once started, it runs like crap, and is sounds way toned down. Is just doesnt have the harsher tone it did. It wont rev worth anything. I cant think it would be flooded because I can get it started, and it runs, but it just runs like ****. Any suggestions?

Yeah, I bet your plugs are trashed. Pull them and either clean them really good or just put in a new set.

Hey, sorry I kinda forgot about this thread. I pulled my plugs over the weekend, and cleaned them up real good. They were caked in ****. So I started it up again, and it was having the same problem. But I said screw it, and took it up the block anyway. As I was driving, i noticed it start to gain a little bit more power, and it was getting louder. Finally, i just revved it up a little bit, and it backfired, and it was back to normal. Kinda weird.

So it was driving real good for the past few days, but this morning, it went back into limp dick mode. So I took it up the street again, and same thing happened, got louder, backfired and was back to normal. So Im yet to find out what the deal with that is, but at least I can get it running like normal. I just want to find out why it keeps doing it. It makes me scared to start my car every morning.

Hope you can get your problems sorted out!!
