Flooded maybe?

my car was at my buddy's house for a few days not being used while i was out of town. it was gonna rain so he decided to move my car into the garage. i came back and was going to take the car home with me and it wouldn't start.
i looked up some solutions for this problem and alot of members said it might be flooded. the only problem was no one had a final solution that worked. has anyone had this problem? how should i go about fixing it?
thanks,
loren

oh sorry. yeah it turns over like its going to start but doesn't. all the lights on the dash come on radio head lights all fine. it just wont start after about 5 seconds of cranking multiple times. then after cranking and the key is on the power position, there is a buzzing until i turn the key to the off position. the buzzing seems to come from the UIM

Push the gas pedal to the floor then try to crank it over again. The computer will shut off the injectors, during start, if the pedal is to the floor.

Still no go?

Pull one spark plug from each chamber & squirt some AFT fluid inside. Reinstall the plugs & go for another start attempt.

Or just wait a day for all the gas to evaporate & presto.................

try jumpstarting the car, the battery might be running low also

If it is indeed flooded, try what Sled Driver just mentioned

its odd that your car would stall on you while you were driving it. You might have a problem with your fuel pump, eather a loose connection or its about to fail on you.

This is a common problem with these cars if you say just crank it up to pull it out of the garage to wash it. The best thing to do in the future (leaving it with someone unfamiliar with rotaries) is let them know to warm the car fully before sutting it off. If the ATF trick doesn't work there's a good chance it will take new plugs to help.

also, if that doesnt work if you have a couple of buddies over or a tow rope you can always push start it. With my old FC I would try the ATF trick and it wouldn't work so I would just push start it to get it going again, once the smoke all cleared from the ATF it was good to go.
