Flaming FD

Got a 92 model FD here with a cracked apex seal. Still the original engine so is doing well to last over 12 years.

Nice flames popping at idle, thought I would share a pic..........

Excuse the 15-second exposure for the effect.

The rubbing of the license plate always cracks me up.

How do you hide your license plate when you are driving around

Neat pic, though You gave me an idea of what to do on the dyno

What difference does it make? When you are driving on the street, EVERYBODY can see your license plate.

DMRH: That's a cool pic. I'd like to see the look on the mechanic's face with the exhaust like that when I bring in the car for a smog test.

i think because people on a forum, dedicated to what you're posting about, are more likely to have an interest in your car? the majority of people you go by driving around the street aren't theives or aren't going to look up your information or could care less about your car (compared to the forum dedicated to it).

that's the closest thing to making sense i've heard.

I wouldn't hide mine, but I don't care. I can understand hiding other's plates.

The reason to do it is that now, you can place an identity to the plate. If you have a beef with someone, now you know which car it theirs.

Yeah, you can drive around and everyone can see it, but they don't know who's driving it.

Oh yeah. Pic is pretty sweet. Pretty dark out there? With a 15 sec exposure, I'd imagine that it'd be pretty dark. Any filters?

OT, but we have had members on this forum track down other member cars to steal them in the past....
