FD PLugs - ECU side of engine harness

I'm looking at my FD wiring harness, and I'm wondering what two of the plugs are. they are on the ECU side of the motor harness, and they arent the ECU plugs. One is white. one is Blue.

What are they? are they required?

I looked in the Archives, I searched. I coudlnt find what I need. I woudlnt be asking this, but I'm going to be extending the harness and I would like to know if I should spend the time to get these done too.

they are not NEEDED, but i would recommend keeping them in the event you have a problem they are great for diagnostics

The motor isnt going into an FD. This is going into my FC. Is this the side where people plug the machine into? Or is that on the other end of the harness?

No, the diagnostic connector isn't even part of the engine harness; it's part of the body harness. these connectors directly affect an input to the ECM. I can't for the life of me remember what the other connector is for, sorry.

I just looked at my FD, it looks like they are both body harness connectors. Haven't a clue what they are for though, could be any number of things.

Cut em out, and whatever doesn't work - thats what they were for.

or check the Manuals you can download from this forum.
