I'm trying to get the sound clip but it wouldn't load.

 

here's a shot of the Border exhaust installed on my car, i'm gonna be dropping a few videos in voskos box in a few minutes

 

anyone have the Rotary Extreme Ti exhuast or a sound clip?

 

This is my rx7 with a street port, HKS downpipe, Pettit resonated midpipe, and APEXi catback. You can see it blowing a flame in the begining of the video. Don't laugh at my cracked window, haha.

Awesome! That's the exhaust I am thinking about and I think that just sold me on it.

bladz311 - BTW - Are you using the pre-silencer in it?

 

I'm not using a pre-silencer. You can see more pics and videos of it on http://www.VisionCustoms.com . I have a veilside kit, scoot sport hood, 18 inch nzo wheels, and a mazdaspeed spoiler that are going on next week. Its also getting painted in house of kolor - oriental candy blue. I can't wait to see it after, haha.

 

The car wasn't very loud with just the APEXi cat back, but once the HKS downpipe and Pettit midpipe were added it sounded a lot better. I went with the resonated midpipe, which I am very glad of becasue any louder would be overkill. I can hear the turbos spool pretty good now. I also capped off the intake where the blow off valve connected, so now it just releases into the atmosphere, which made it really loud. All I needed to do it was a $1 rubber cap from advance auto.

I would like to hear a stock exhaust at WOT (from inside the vehicle) for a baseline comparison.

I am planning to give up a sound clip of my exhaust... need my bud to visit me with his digital cam... then I will load one.... oh ya the sound of the HKS Hi-Power is very nice... I know because I own it. No wet fart sound. it is nice and low.... you guys will find out. I'll try to jump on the clip...
