I have a video with my t78 fd idling. It has midpipe, downpipe ,custom fabricated 3 inch exhaust, with a apexi n1 single. Here is the link, hopefully it should still work.

http://www.imagestation.com/video/v...4207532427&dl=1

It's one of those cheapo links, so if right clicking doesn't work, try cut and pasting it into ur link bar.

mm...well due to the wide amount of recommendations toward the nur spec (ha) i went and got one!

well here are my thoughts-

pros:
+well priced
+VERY nice strong, low bass sound...no high pitched squeal here!

cons:
-very large opening...this could be a good thing for some but i supposed it attracts a lot of attention (as if the sound didn't do that job already)
-well this is probably not a bad thing at all but the bass compared to the sheer volume shakes my house when i turn on the car
- a bit loud, especially at idle...i'm running a downpipe on a mildly ported motor, stock cat.

all in all...i would definitely recommend this exhaust!! the exhaust note is beautiful but it is also a tiny bit loud...not as loud as say an apex'i N1 but definitely enough to stand out anywhere.

i'll work on a video or audio clip soon

Greddy SP2 exhaust sound clips

A few people have asked me about the sound of the Greddy SP2 exhaust on my car. I finally got around to uploading a few short vids on youtube. The quality isn't that good (thanks to youtube) but if you turn up the sound you can really hear the exhaust. It's actually louder in person but the wind noise really drowns out the exhaust sound in the vids. Here are the clips:

Start-up (this is completely cold - when the car is warmed up it gets much deeper):

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t4-1Hz7Fhko

Idle:

Accel 1:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mdqj2ur_EPM

Accel 2:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mACMJloWGTQ

My car also had a bonez downpipe, blitz intake, and Pettit ecu. I hope this helps anyone looking at buying this exhaust.

Are you getting on the throttle at all during the acceleration? Or are you just easing the rpms up?

Cause that seemed slow as hell, especially in 1st gear. Im not trying to sound offensive but i just wanted to know cause that doesnt look normal.

And is your CEL on?

I was only boosting about 2-3psi... you can see it on the boost controller if you look closely. I wanted to show what the exhaust sounded like during "normal" acceleration.

That's not the CEL, it's the abs light (broke the sensor when putting in the new shocks).

If anyone is interested I suppose I can get a clip at WOT.

Sounds good brian. At first i thought you v8'ed your car lol

The cranking sound sounded different but i guess that was because you were in an enclosed type parking lot.

Sounds good though.

PS, is that your DD altima? lol

This is the exhaust I want to buy but it is discontinued. Does anyone know where I can find one? I’m trying to find someone who may still have some in stock but so far no luck.

Anyone have any suggestions on another brand that is similar in design & sound?

Thanks

here is a vid of the Greddy SP. My car had Dp, Pettit Resonated MP, and the Greddy. Verry deep sounding exhaust and not too loud.

I actually just found the owner, it is a 3 rotor, with a 3 inch mid, pre silencer, and racing beat muffler (I assume single tip, but I dont know why it would stick out so much).

love the clips. I know this doesnt belong here but i have an rsx-s sound slip on this page. This is what i used to record it. Macbook, Apogee ONE, and a dynamic Microphone taped right above the exhaust. i took a drive and recorded it. has a cold start and the driving then warm start, then rippin it to 100. If anyone can get some sounds clips like this, that would be killer. Ill make one when i get my FD, hopefully somday soon
