engine harness firewall grommet

anyone know where i can find a new engine harness firewall grommet? i can't find a part number for it.

mine was cut by the previous owner and a new one will complete my mostly clean Haltech install...

Call Ray Crowe at Malloy Mazda, tell him what you need and he will get it if available. The man knows the seven like the back of his hand no part number necessary.

I'd be surprised if you could get it separately, it's probably considered part of the engine harness.

However, I'd go hit up the junkyard and look at other 90's Mazdas, I'm sure you can find one with a grommet that is identical or damn near. Hack it out of the harness there and you're good to go.

You can't get it from Malloy. Post up a WTB as there are tons of junk harnesses and that part doesn't go bad. I got one from Fritz for something reasonable...

Something like an MX6 or MX5 of the same era at a junkyard might be the way to go. Just chop the harness at the grommet, then slide the sucker off and take it home

SA3R- I know we don't care about those cars, but out of courtesy to the other customers and the business owner the OP should invest the extra 3 minutes to unplug the thing at the ECU.

Not a bad idea, there's a few MX's at one of the local junkyards in my area. I'll give it a go next time I'm out there to repair my engine harness. *Hopefully they have some matching connectors to fix some of the ones that cracked from time/heat also.
