Arrow Engine builders come to me!!! Half Bridge!

Well it is time... I want to go half bridge and with all the new builders out there these days.... Who is the best for the job? i want a solid motor so i need a quality job done. i was leaning towards Pinnapple but there is a 10 week back up cuz the best is under demand lol So now im considering other avenues let me know your opinons. and or if you know someone who has one sitting around i'd be interested in that too!

every decent builder in the US is backed up for months right now, i suggest you just pick one and get in line and be patient.

No, he's talking about R&R Rotary in Upland, CA. The shop's main mechanic's dad built me a great street port motor. He's been putting rotaries together for 20 or so years from what I gather. I beat the **** out of it, almost 4000 miles so far and it's been great to me You can look up their contact info on the web.

if you are wanting a half bridge you should contact BDC aka Brian Caine.

he sends you about 20 high resolution pics of his ports and after looking at them you don't want him to assemble them into a motor, rather you want to put them on your mantle. Brain did my ports (raceport not bridge). brian has developed the half bridge and has many of them making big power. he is an excellent tuner and a good guy.

Toss me a PM; I am not backed up other than a tuning trip I'm taking to Alabama here pretty soon. I'll get you some more information on what I do.

Chris Rogers hands down!!! are you sure you want a have bridge? there are people that can make globs of power on stock ports. i just had chris do a street port to help for spool up. yet this will not take away from engine life. i would not go with a half bridge unless your just tracking the car.

why would a half bridge negatively effect reliability?

it doesn't....

last i remembered that "eyebrow" was in a place where you had to make sure it was PERFECTLY positioned so that the corner seal and/or apex seal wouldnt plop out. you have to have some kind of percentage of metal contacting that area. . . that means extra wear since it partially drops into the port, then raises back up when it hits the closing port wall. however, i know there are a lot of people that run their HB's for quite some time. hehe, the reliability factor probably has more to do with the extra throttle time the engine experiences.
