EGR System on 95 FD: Where is it?

I am beginning to think my 95 FD never had an EGR system! Looking at the pictures below, you can see that my 95 definitely does not match the 94 FSM. Where the heck is the EGR? Did some FDs not have an EGR system? Also, the exhaust manifold does not have the small port for passing air from the EGR system and the EGR solenoid and hoses are not present.

Yes, the 95s are without EGR. The 94's all have them.

Dave's got it right. Also, none of the Japanese cars had EGR.

The EGR system is pretty worthless, anyhow. There is literally a pinhole in the gasket for the EGR valve to inject gasses with that clogs up fast.

Count yourself lucky not to have the system .

Also, I have a '95 shop manual, and they just whited out the EGR system in the manual.

That is very good... and maybe bad news. The good part is that there is nothing to repair/restore in the EGR section. The bad news is that I may not be able to use the 93-94 exhaust manifold I just bought (I am reversing the previous owner's non-seq mod). It has a small pipe to allow injection of air into the exhaust. Does that pipe need to be plugged?

Use a 95 or 93 non-Cali ECU.

Sure will, if you set the PFC correctly it'll ignore just about anything, I've removed EVERY piece of emissions equipment, and every solenoid, fuel temp sensor, and a couple other odds and ends and i dont get a check engine light.

does that exhaust manifold line need to be plugged when going non seq?

And can the EGR thing on the Manifold just be deleted with a block off plate? and cap the nipple on the tube?

Do you mean Lower Intake Manifold (LIM)? I have a 95 and am using either a 93 or 94 LIM with a block off plate on the egr holes.
