Diagnosis help... Smoke

Just recently started happening.... Sometimes, not every time, my car is at idle it puffs out white smoke like crazy. When I give it any gas at all it quits smoking. Any clues?

When you had your bad turbo's it smoked bad correct? I've seen it where the intercooler will collect a lot of oil and will sit in there, and takes a long time to burn off. If you're bored ever and want to make sure, i guess take off your intercooler and see if there is oil sitting in it, spray it out with water and see what happens.

White smoke usually means coolant. Check your O rings.

If you recently swapped turbos I would agree with the second post. This happend to me when I did the same thing. First week was like a white cloud at idle. Now I'm good. With this car, I've never been to worried about smoke at idle too much. Now smoke under gas (which is what I saw before I replaced the turbos) gets me very nervous.

hey... i've had the turbos on there for a couple months now and it just now started smoking... and it never bothered/worried me, but there's a something wrong with seeing a beautiful car being uglied by tons of white smoke. But yeah with the old turbos... smoke while under gas.
well everything is great now.
