Dashboard and control backlights not coming on, help?
My dashboard backlights and control backlights will not come on, with headlights on. Any secret to this?
the sidemarker lights and glove compartment lights are on. the dashboard was taken apart for painting.
Could something just have come unplugged?
Thank you

Same situation here....
Last night got pulled over... Cop was nice once he realized I wasn't a teenage "fast'n'furious" wannabe...
Interior lights don't go on...Officer told me brake lights came on but regular tail lights no. Headlights work fine.

I would check first to make sure it's not a grounding or fuse issue and then work you way from there. Also if the whole dash was off, they probably didn't connect everything together again or the right way, you best bet is take if off again and double check all the connections.

During lunch checked the fuses and relays and all are fine. Even replaced the Taillight fuse (even though it looked fine)...
Still nothing...

you should probably remove the guage cluster hood and make sure everything got connected. it's a pain but, but not terribly difficult. if you can't figure it out, PM me and i can write you up some directions. also, the dimmer switch needs to be hooked up like was previously mentioned. there is a plug that goes into the back of the switch i believe, and if someone forgot to hook that up when they put the dash back in, that could be your problem
