Damn, did you hit a pole. Is there frame damage, from the looks of it, it might be more than the worth of the car.

Im an appraiser for progressive insurance...

You are gonna need a new rt doors shell repair time to the quarter panel, replace the rocker panel, rt b pillar is going to be pushed in, frame time to pull the rt b pillar and rocker panel 2 hrs set up and probably about 3 hrs for pull on rt rocker/b pillar. possible internal door damage to electronics/reinforcement bar inside the shell.
Vehicle needs a teardown man. I use Mitchell Ultramate for estimating and as you know, RX7 parts are expensive. If I were to guestimate this without proper teardown etc. I would say somewhere in the 6000 dollar range for everything. Bodyshop may be able to find an entire used rt door assembly..etc...

let me know if you have any other questions..

Ouch!! That second pic looks like frame damage and if not, if there is a small dent that is left there it may worry someone if they see it. Also it may be that the fender shifted, but it seems the hood is quite out of whack as well.

I am just learning about the FD, and I will imagine body parts are a bit higher than a domestic. From my days back working at the dealer as a bitch boy I came up with $8500 as an estimate trying to conceptualize what may need to be done. That might be low though. Hopefully times have changed

My 88 Convertible was hit in the right door. It also damaged the rear quarter, wheel, and roof. There was no frame damage. The bill totalled $8900.00

Does it track straight? Will you need any suspension parts? That was a major part of my repair bill.

slid about 5 feet down a 45degree slope and hit a stump. it tracks straight. i think it is the fender, not the hood that is out of whack. i don't think there is suspension damage, however, the rear does squeak a bit over speed bumps now.

seems like an easy enuf fix, new door, new fender, body work on the rest as well as a sideskirt to hide any flaws
