? about turbo exhaust temps before the IC

Does anyone know what the typical temps are coming out of the turbos but BEFORE the IC??

The reason I am wondering is that the bottom of my Greddy SMIC is exposed to the radiator "exhaust" and I was wondering if it would help heat soak if I but some thermal shielding on the bottom IC can.

Thanks for the help!

Stock twins???

If so, 200-250 F at around 12 psi depending on inlet temp. 15 psi on a hot day and you're heading for 300!

Know what you mean about heat soak. I was wondering if shielding the bottom of the intercooler would help, too.

nice to know...looks like my IC cuts the temp. in half.

I have some aluminized fiberglass mat insulation under my SMIC. I have not idea if it helps or not, but it seemed like it might reduce heat soak at least.

so my question is -- if the turbo air is hotter than the radiator air should one be concerned about the impact of the radiator on the lower part of the IC? Not talking about the fins, but the bottom/area exposed to rad.
