coolant inbetween UIM and LIM?
I just removed my UIM to install my new fuel system. there was a little bit of liquid residue around each of the intake holes on the UIM/LIM gasket. It was greenish so I think it may be coolant.
Does this mean I have bad coolant seals in the engine? I don't really have any white smoke.

its still green/brownish liquid, not really a dried residue. I haven't started the car since first week of december, so its not new, and I haven't put any type of sealer on. I thought the coolant would burn up just like 4CN mentioned, idk what else it could be though.

IMO, there's no logical way I can think of that coolant could get to that location, unless it crept in from a leak on the outside of the engine. It certainly wouldn't be there if a coolant seal were the problem. It probably is some other liquid, maybe a mixture of oil from the turbos and something it has dissolved.

If your car had a tb coolant delete the line that routes up from the rear iron to the rear of the water pump housing could leak. Dry rotted rubber lines are a dime a dozen. If it's green it's pretty unmistakable. Before taking off the LIM spray all around with brake parts cleaner and use some shop are to blow away the liquid. Give me a call if you need anything...
