Final update - Got the transmission installed, and everything seems to work great. My issue getting the transmission in properly was the alignment - the plates were aligned with one another, but not concentric with the pilot bearing. I was able to use my handy dandy borescope to see the misalignment. Once I fixed that, the transmission went in like butter. Thank you to all that helped out - now it’s time to get it tuned and on the road.
