clutch pedal engagement issues

I just had a new clutch installed, as well as a new slave cyl. I just fully bled the clutch and adjusted the pedal to where I like clutches to be.

Anyways, it engages fine from a start, but if you sit in first gear with the clutch depressed at a stoplight, when you start to go the engagement is REALLY low on the pedal. After a few shifts it's back to where it normally is.

Any idea what it could be?

Also, the cltuch is an ACT heavy duty plate with the street disk. How long does it usually take to break in a clutch. It's engagement is a little jerky now, almost as bad as my old twin HKS clutch on my skyline. Will it get any smoother, or is this what to expect from now on. I would have thought for a solid single disk, it would be a little bit of a smoother engagement.

Clutch pedal issue

First off.. brand new ACT clutch in the car. New slave cyl and a full bleed done.

Anyways, the car shifts fine when just regular driving. Bit if you sit in gear at a light with the pedal held down, when you try to drive away the engagement point is about 5 inches LOWER to the floor on the pedal.

After a few pumps it's back to normal. I replaced the slave thinking that was it, and bled the clutch multiple times. There is no leak from the master cyl so I have a hard time beliving that that is the issue.

It's like the clutch is loosing pressure when you hold it down for long periods of time.

Any ideas?

More bleeding?

And.. I "think" I have a very small rear main leak. What are the chances of it getting to the clutch and causing issues for the next week or so. I am going to drop the trans sometime soon and deal with it. What is the chance that I will need to replace the friction disk?
