I dunno about the anodized metal...

But it couldn't really mess up your car at all. It could just not fit. And a downpipe that doesn't fit correctly is a BITCH to install.

Yeah, I would say its a pretty good price as long as they fit right. Cast iron rust however, so you may want to coat them before putting them on. Jet coat if you have the money or most high temp paints are corrosion resistant after they have cured.

where are you seeing cast iron ? I HIGHLY doubt they are! In any case that would be fine. Just more weight..

I say buy em! Fit is your only worry but they look good and should fit.. Check the sellers feedback for fitmen issues...

I tohught somebody else said it was cast. I mus have misread lol.

I'm with want to race. Look through the feedback and that should tell ou if they fit or not. Thats pretty cheap so get them because when it comes down to it they are still just pipes.

i would be suspicious. I heard you can only anodize ALUMINUM, not any kind of steel. I could be wrong, but if thats the case, i wouldnt trust it.

Their old auction for them said they were cast iron but I don't think they know what they're talking about because theres no f'in way they're cast iron. It would be a 100 times more of a pain in the *** to make cast ones vs. tubular ones out of mild steel which is what is pictured. They are "most" probably mild steel painted with some sort of cheap/high temp header paint.

Has the same cast iron as the factory manifold to maintain the same quality, expansion and fitment characteristics

Black anodized for maximum corrosion protection

I have a feeling that it's the same cheap *** crap I got conned into buying. I don't think it's the same screen name and I'm not sure how it would fit pipe to pipe on an actual FD (Mine's in an FC), but when mounted to my turbos the O2 sensor was jammed into the secondary turbo compressor housing. And that was with it already installed, so there's no way to get it on afterwards. It didn't bother me to much as I already was cutting it up to make it fit in my FC, but I'd have liked for it to have fit correctly for the money I paid then and if I had an FD I'd have been really pissed.
